Adult Volunteers

There are many opportunities to become involved with Young Voices!

These include:

• Partnering with our youth as a member of the Host Committee for our annual event. Adult and youth Host Committee members work together on all aspects of this event, from design to inviting guests. Last year’s event, which was chaired by Governor Chafee and Providence Mayor Taveras, exceeded all our original expectations, an we are very excited to bring this year’s event to an even higher level.
• Working alongside our youth as a member of our Board of Directors. Board members are a critical part of Young Voices’ success and sustainability over the long term.
• Partnering with young on Young Voices’ Policy Committee, which guides the strategic policy directions for our organization.
• Supporting our leadership training by offering expertise, specifically in education policy issues, PR, and marketing.
