The Leadership Transformation Academy (LTA) gives youth advanced, transferable skills for dealing with the adult world in any context.  The LTA is given twice a week, year-round, and many of our youth participate for multiple years, gaining powerful skills in public speaking, networking, policy analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to relate effectively with high-level leaders.  The action of testifying at a high-level hearing, or meeting with a major official, is actually the hands-on part of the training, where youth learn the most.  So while our youth are causing systemic changes that make a difference for all youth, they are also personally gaining life-long, transformational skills.
